Detailed Description

Jack "Doc" Watson played a vital role in the muscle car history. Known to racers and car builders as the "Shifty Doctor," a name he earned as he traveled the country to various racetracks, Watson has proven himself over the years as a man who gets things done. As a tribute to his automotive contributions, the Horsepower Hall of Fame's artist Jason Bliss created an overview of notable contributions such as the original 1968 and 1968 Hurst/Oldsmobiles, Linda Vaughn, the First Lady of Motorsports with her giant nine foot shifter display, the Mobile Hurst Performance Center which traveled the country repairing many a racer's vehicle, the 20th anniversary Hurst/Olds, the Bonneville Hurst/Olds, the awe-inspiring dual engined Hurst Hairy Oldsmobile.
